Enturbulation is entirely dependent on donations and advertising revenue. It's no exaggeration that maintaining a site of this size and scope requires a lot of resources. From the most obvious types of expenses like paying the datacenter for electricity and bandwidth, to buying hardware upgrades to deal with the ever increasing loads, to the less than obvious things like the cost of gasoline for datacenter trips. And of course, there is always the dedicated administrative team who may want to enjoy a cup of coffee for their efforts in keeping the site online and efficient.
Below you will find a breakdown of the current operating expenses of the site. With the way we have things laid out below, you can decide what you want to help us out with. If you can't decide, or you would rather have us determine where your donation goes, you can instead donate to the "General" which will move money funds to whatever most needs it.

Monthly Server Hosting Costs (Paid Until September 1st)
On a month to month basis, this is what it costs us to keep everything ticking. The total amount is comprised of our datacenter bill, which is where our central server is located, as well as two VPS that help secondary administrative services (file hosting, IRC, development, etc.)
Network Upgrade (WebServer B Now Active For Donations)
The longevity of the site is at the mercy of how quickly we can adapt to our increasing amounts of traffic and registered members. We plan to do a major overhaul to our network in the coming months that will allow the site to continue to grow. You can donate to the current item needed for this network overhaul, you can find details for each item as well at it's status by following this link.
Pizza Fund
Any donations to this fund will be evenly dispersed to hungry staff members. Simply put, if you want to give us a few dollars to have lunch (or any other meal), this is where you can send it!
